Engineering Surveys which include the setting out of
engineering works such as buildings, bridges, canals,
dams, tunnels surveying for the laying of pipelines and
cables, surveys of completed engineering works as
constructed, monitoring of existing engineering works
for deformation.
Cadastral Surveys where property boundaries
(for land and strata lots) are defined for issue of
ownership titles. The survey is conducted primarily
for the purpose of which is to document the
perimeters, or any one of them, of a parcel of land
by establishing or re-establishing corners,
monuments, boundary lines for the purposed of
describing the parcel, locating fixed markers on the
parcel and dividing the parcel.
Hydrographic Surveys is
for the purpose of determining the depth of the
seabed in relation to the foreshore, pier, jetty
and shoreline. The hydrographic survey plans are
drawn to suitable scales for the Engineers to
prepare his design for submission to the
authorities for approval.
